My wife got the dual top option on her 2008 JK Unlimited...with the soft top on...
She wheeled it for a few months, than swapped on the hard top...back in 2008, and the soft top has never gone back on.
Its been stored in the garage since then. (Lawrenceville, NJ - 08648)
Its in brand new condition save for normal wear and tear for ~ 3 months, which did include Rausch Creek a few times, but with no damage unless you count mud spatter.
It is black, and has the tinted windows.
It has never leaked a drop.
