4.0L Throttle Body for the 2.5L

Ok, I have an 89 2.5L engine (TBI equipped). I found a guy selling a 4.0L throttle body off of a 2000 TJ. Will this fit? I've heard mixed results reguarding MPI engines and 91-95 2.5L engines and all kinds of crap. Clear as mud. If you know a site that has complete and accurate info, I would be grateful.

It will not work, the MPFI TB will not fit on a TBI engine.

I don't believe so. It just allows more air to pass... like a K&N filter. Just more combustion... shouldn't affect it.[addsig]

emissions might even be a little cleaner... more air, purer combustion... less unburnt fuel and whatnot...[addsig]
