Has anyone installed a 2 inch lift on a 2000 TJ, using coil spacers, bumb stops, and new shocks. Is it hard to install and do you need special tools.

I think you need a spring compressor...ya know...one of those specialty tools you'll never need again. So if you have a friend with one...give 'em a call...explain why you haven't called in years...have a beer...then snag the tool box. [addsig]

Nah, you don't need any special tools. The springs fall out easily enough when you let the axles droop all the way down, then reinstall with the spacers.

You may need to diconnect the front track bar lower mount to get the front axle to droop completely.[addsig]
