1979 Silver Anniversary Edition CJ5

I did a forum search on the above title and found no threads on it.

I obtained one in March and have been fixing it up ... It still needs a black top and seats with a specific black material but it's coming along.

Does anyone else on here have one?

I have a '79 but unfortunately it's not a silver anniversary edition. I love them, saw a rough an rusty one on ebay back in the winter and it bidded really high. Looks like you've got a nice one. I would keep it as orig as possible. More pics please!

Nothing like a timely response on my part ... Here's the same Jeep about a year later. 2" lift, roll bar pads, & bikini top ...
