Well here we go Ive got huge problems with my wrangler. My alternator died so i went and replaced it along with a new battery just to be safe cause i ran it extremely low put it all together and nada nothing, so i checked the fuses and found all the fuses for the brakelights and the third brakelight blown, put a fuse in and wham blows it instatly! So i started checking the brakelight switch and found the wire for the 3rd brakelight melted completley all the way from the brake pedal to the light itself, i think its because some dumbo put a 30amp in the 3rd brakelight slot and it heated up the wire untill it found a wire to short out to. so i rebuilt the wiring harness from the drivers door all the way to the 3rd brakelight. now all my lights work no blown fuses, still not charging i checked the green wire from the pcm and it ohms out fine, and i am getting the right voltage at the dash so that puts out the idea of the white wire from the alternator. So i checked the voltage on the green wire from the pcm 1 to 5 volts max, did this kill the voltage regulaor in the pcm? I dont want to shell out $300 for a new pcm if there is a problem im not aware of..:???: Anyone have any ideas on what could be making this happen?
