command hood hinge

I have been to several forums with little luck. '72 Commando with the hood popped up on the windshield end. Is this weak springs or do the hinges need replaced? The pins on the hinge assemblies are really loose in the holes. Are these hinges compatible with any FSJ? I can align the hood...
