Picked up a tilt XJ steering column from the junkyard for My 89 YJ manual trans. From everything I researched and read. It should bolt right in with a few modifications. But after I got bolted in. It ended up being about 3.5 - 4” to short from connecting to the intermediate steering shaft...

Hey! I just got a "new" '82 Wagoneer and the steering column is all buggered up! I'm scrapping the old column. Anyone know what other years are compatible with an '82 and where I might find one... for cheap preferably, I'm broke. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.
