Oh my fault, I just understood what you were all saying about a bad fuel mixture.....any possibility I'm running too rich now??? how would i determine this, by smell?

First off, thanks for all of your guys' help.....I have now replaced all 6 fuel injectors. Damn costly process for these stupid little things ($70/injector). Haven't had the problem since. It did look sweet, but obviously just NOT RIGHT! Doesn't appear that there's been any sort of collateral...

Thanks, That'd be one half of the upgrade if i could get ahold of one of those. It probably wouldn't be good to install a high-pro coil without also installing a larger distributer cap first. Im wondering if anyone knows where I might find a larger dist cap and cap adapter that will fit the 242...

After looking they're only like 20 bucks after s/h. I'd like to have a Tachometer also, would that be possible to set that up with a Tach included cluster even though the old one wasn't configured that way??
