I put too much stuff in the back of my 1994 Grand Cherokee and the rear windshield popped out when I closed the hatch (window is fine). It looks to me like it is just a gasket that broke (it is almost 20 years old), but I wanted to see if anyone had dealt with this before in case I was missing...
