Can anyone tell me where I can find this seal.? Or where I might find a replacement O ring seal... Transmission is in a 1998 Jeep Cherokee SE model with the 4.0 6 cylinder and automatic trans. 4 wheel drive. And the o ring seal goes on the trans filler tube where it goes into the transmission.

JPNinPA. Thank you for the quick reply.. I didn't know what it was, as I've never done a lift on a jeep..! I'm going to pull the entire coil and absorber out and see if I can trace down the numbers, and locate the manufacture and either try and get a new shock if possible or the entire...

anybody out there able to tell me which named and part number shocks will fit {replace} my original shocks IN the coil spring on front of my 1998 cherokee XJ...??? 4 wheel drive

well, checked out all the items everyone wrote about and could not find any problems with any of the recommended items to check ...weird huh ? but thanks to all who replied, at least now I know what to check for on front end problems...

ok, I printed out the things you said to do on the tests, and will get started quick as I can on them. The list sounds as if it should cover everything possible to check and how to do, I appreciate it..! My tires are stock size and rims are also. :shades:

Hey..JPNinPA I tried your advise, didn't help me any.. not your fault... I'm now trying to see if the sensor has power to it, I've disconnected the pigtail to it and have turned the ignition to the on position, and tested with my tester, on all 4 prongs of the power cord... but it doesn't...

Anyone have this problem with check engine light coming on... after you floorboard the engine from a dead stop the check engine light comes on...I can put the trans into neutral and while coasting turn the engine off and restart engine and the light goes off.... otherwise the light comes on...

I have a 98 jeep xj and it has the idiot lights instrument cluster in it, I have changed the factory cluster harness over to the recall recommended one..can I change out the idiot light cluster over to the full gauge one from a jeep that has the full gauges with out changing anything else???
