    New weber carb in a 258 issue

    I put a 32/36 Weber on my CJ7. The hi altitude here in Wyo gave me some issues, but, the biggest issue was vacuum leak at the riser under the carb ... once fixed, was good ... also, keep the fuel pressure down to 2 -4 lbs.

    Water Pump, 258-6 Engine

    Before you install that new water pump, take a look at the pump-impeller to see what rotation direction it requires. Sometimes both standard (v-belt) pumps and reverse-rotation (serpentine-belt) pumps have the same part number and no markings to indicate which is which ... the reverse-rotation...
