Different makes of cars use different styles of rivets. So to make them illegal for mere possession is probably improbable.

U just drove it from Los Angeles to paso Robles, about 220 miles. No whistling, a little more responsive on the throttle. I have a rapid flow air intake headers cat back and stage 2 jet chip. I think the throttle body by itself may be ineffective but all together supposed to work best.

My frameless bestop has a sunrider mode and removing the side panels are very easy. Of course if you want the whole topless look/feel, then yes it may not be very suitable for you.

I have a bestop frameless it came with door surrounds. They are awesome. No leakage and muffles outdoor noise on the freeway. They clamp on the top to the roll bar and pops into the tub behind the door.

I cut my exhaust about 15" from the back of the muffler and added an downward bent tip to it. I had a muffler shop weld a muffler hanger for support. I see that more and more now.
