I have seen those fried connectors on other vehicles. I was considering the high temp (ceramic) ones from NAPA or on ebay. thanks!

The wiring is all stock original as far as I can tell. But I will look at the wiring closely and the grounds. Thanks!

These are DOT approved lights from NAPA that use a 9003 bulb, so I thought I could use them with no problem. I guess the stock YJ electrictal system is just not good enough for the newer bulbs. thanks

Thanks for the information. I put in a new splined yoke and two u-joints. Although this is my tenth Jeep (including a CJ, 2 YJ's, and a TJ) this is the first time I have had this problem and did not know if it was normal. :o

1993 bare bones stock YJ. I put in some higher wattage headlights and when I put the fog lights on, they all started blinking. The relay I presume. So do I have to upgrade my wiring or what. Thanks! :shock:

Just a stock YJ, but why were the front u-joints on the rear drive shaft loose in the yoke (slid back and forth) ? And how does the front of the rear drive shaft bend enough (or something) to put yoke marks on the opposite shaft, and have the yoke peaned over (distorted) at the bearing caps...

OK YJ experts, need your help. 1993 Sahara, 4.0L, 5 speed, 69,000K, bare bones stock. The trans insulator (stabilizer) stud was stripped at the bottom and loose when I got Jeep last fall. I shimmed it and managed to get enough threads on the nut to tighten it up, and ordered a new one. At the...
