I measured my '84 CJ-7 bolt pattern, came up with 5 5 1/4, seems to me every jeep I've owned (which were older) were 5 5 1/2 ? had a friend measure, came up with the same 5 5 1/4 what gives? is there anyway the axles got swapped for some weird abnormal pattern? or am I using a Chinese measuring...
Bought a top grade flywheel for my YJ conversion (was going to do), but sold everything, now I'm down to the flywheel, brand new unit, paid $125 plus shipping.. any "reasonable" non insulting offers accepted if you need one.. it was going into a 4.0L T15 swap out..

like the heater/blower motor upgrade, there must be the same upgrades for the Alternator? just added a winch, lights, etc.. have the stock alternator that doesn't get over 11 vdc when anything like the heater, turn signals, etc are on.. but.... my alternator uses the serpentine belt, so...
cj-7 clock bulb fixture fell apart "inside the clock" along with the bulb and.......
getting the clock out of the dash is just short of impossible without removing the dash from the jeep... somehow, the light bulb fixture came apart, dropped the bulb and another part down in the clock, that's...
my tach light up and quit? there is no plug in lamp, there is no way to open the tach, anybody have a clue how to change or check the bulb? or, when the lamp goes out, toss it and buy a decent tach?
I removed all of the a/c from my 1984 CJ-7 except for the compressor.. can't take it off because of the serpentine belt routing? anyone know of where I can buy one of those by-pass pulley assembly's so I can yank the compressor off the motor?
I'm only getting 20lbs or less oil pressure, has anyone put a high output oil pump in there rig? if so, what type, and what results did you get? thanks..
most cherokee's come with a roll up cover for over the back deck area.. so you can't look in to see what's back there.. if anyone knows what its called firstly, and where to get one, I would appreciate the info.. or if you have one for sale.. thanks.. wayne
