    1041507 How is your oil pressure? Does the ticking sound seem to be coming from the valve cover (a cam bearing) or the oil pan (a main bearing)? My '88 Chief had a top end ticking sound and very low oil pressure. A high volume oil pump helped very little. I eventually lost power altogether...

    1041573 The blower in my '88 Chief does the same thing; if I slow down from a highway speed and then speed back up, the blower stops nearly all output until I reach a cruising speed and let off the accelerator a bit. I couldn't figure it out so just decided to live with it![addsig]
