I've heard of using an additive with a limited slip but not an actual locker. What kind of locker do you have? Also the RTV you're talking about for gaskets, and they do make gaskets but they aren't necessary, can be had at any auto parts or box store cheaper.

Loved my 4.56s with 33s and 35s but they are a bit lacking with my 38s.

Different transmissions. XJ has an AW4 and the XJ has a 42RE. T-case should swap over though.

Did you touch the two cables together to reset the ECU? I usually hold them together for 30 seconds or so.

Shroud will affect it but not much. I don't like the 180 t-stats mine seemed to loose power with it. Is the electric fan coming on and when you swapped the t-stat did you make sure to get all the air out of the system and have you checked the coolant level recently?

Take out the zerk fitting and pull. Should free right up.

Depends on whether the axles were the same width. Out of curiosity why are you putting on dual stabilizers? I don't even run one and can't tell the difference. If your steering is good you don't need them. All they do is make things a little softer.

They all have the light and some even come on when you first start it even when they don't have it.

Look at the axle and if you have a wire the size of a pencil going to each wheel attached to the knuckle then you have ABS. Also look around the master cylinder and see if you have a pump. Even if you find an axle without, unless it's a vacuum disco axle, you can swap shafts and sensors over...

If they are on the wrong side you'd have a hard time bleeding them. Bleeder screw should be on top otherwise you couldn't get all the air out. Sounds like you put the hoses on wrong.

Need a bit more info like tire size and terrain you plan on running.

Have you tried starting it at the relay? Good chance you've blown some fuses and there are plenty.

Expect to pay somewhere in the neighborhood of a grand at a good shop. Depending on what gear ratio you currently have will determine if you need new carriers or not and some shops charge less if the axles are out of the vehicle but I find it's worth the extra charge not to have to remove them...

I put the 3.5 RC on my brothers and it looked good but rode like a tank and the bushings were trash in less than 6 months. I've never dealt with Zone so no words of wisdom for you there. BTW with a little, very little bit of trimming on the bumpers you can fit 33s with 4" of lift.

Some did come with a front skid that protected the steering but if it's ever lifted it's pretty much useless. They were made out of stamped sheet metal so they weren't much good to begin with.

IIRC the series number has to do with what ratios will work with the carrier. 44 is a 44 pretty much with the exception of the JK and 44HD which sometimes has c-clips.
