I had to replace timing gear in my 90 yj. Theirs a compression pin that acts as a key and keeps the camshaft key aligned with the camshaft. When I pulled the gear, the pin stayed. Couldn't pull it out. Asked a couple of people, told these pins are designed to push through so started sinking it...
