    Make a soft top tighter?

    1051442 if you have ever looked at a convertable top you'll see that it has bows...if you buy a spare 4 foot fire stick anttenna you can use it as a soft top bow.. this will tighten the front part of the top and also if you snap your cb anttenna on the trail you'll have a back up... just rig it...

    1051443 call your local 4x4 shop there is a bolt on lift avalable for those trucks ( newer model year, so one should be around for an 85) ...i think you can gain five inches of lift...also you can buy a fiberglass fender kit to make it look like a truggy.... i have seen this done... looks...

    suspension sag

    1051444 just a thought... what type of battery did you use... i know old man emu suspension is suppose to be soft... i'm just thinking IF you have a dual battery setup that's an extra 50 pounds on that side... along with any gear you might carry that might sag out the springs.... other then...

    CB Noise

    1053387 r u running platnuim plugs.. if so you can get engine noise from the ignition... something to do with the fuel ingection system... i'm not blowing smoke.. this has happened to me... put resitor plugs back in and the noise went away... if not change your ground...[addsig]
