will 1/2 doors off a yj, fit a tj??

it ended up being a crank shaft positioning sensor. what causes these to go out? the jeep has 60,000 miles on it?? is there something notorious that causes these to go out???

i have the grey key. the light stays on. tried a battery disconnect, the light is still on and no key action. what is DTC"??

i just bought a 2003 wrangler rubicon. ran great for a week. now it wont start. there is a yellow key with a circle around it and a line through it, on the dash when i attempt to start it. it does nothing. what does this light on the dash mean, and why???????????
