I would assume you need a plate by the looks of it. Smittybilt's website wasn't much help either.

700 is a general transmission problem code, lots of transmission problems can throw it. Transmission fluid is at its proper level?

4.2 is great engine just like the 4.0. Not as much horse power but makes up for the torque. Both are solid engines and share most of the same parts. You can put a 4.0 head on the 4.2 and make it even better. Biggest problem with them is the stock carb that sits on top. Dump it for something new...

Bell housing, external clutch slave, throwout bearing, clutch fork, pilot bearing that kinda stuff. You might be able to keep the whole internal throwout bearing slave thingy in there but really why? Pressure and clutch plate can be reused, but might as well get a new one when you take it all...

Its pretty much a rubicon with a light bar, different fender flares, wheels, bumper and that kinda stuff. I would say its not worth much more than a normal rubicon of its condition.

I think it depends on the tire used. Maybe like 10.5 about the biggest. You can fit bigger and yes it will work, Most places do not recommend it. You'll end up needing to offset the wheels if you get too big.

That mounts to the existing tire carrier mounts as well as through the body in the corner? Looks good to me. I like the stock carrier look too. Cheaper than buying a bumper with a carrier too.

I've never heard somebody say they couldn't find a 2.5 or a 4.0, They're pretty easy to come by. My brother picked a 4.0 the other day for is XJ.

Guy I know bolt rails on the hardtop and then mount the basket to that. When they take it off they have another set of rails they made up for the rollbars. Rails just being steel square tubing and a channel on the basket secured with clevis pins. Guy has a bikini top only in the summer and just...
