    Banks Torque Tubes

1064667 They don't make one for my jeep but I would think if it is from banks it would be top of the line. Hope it works out good for ya, and let us know how it performs and some pics never hurt.[addsig]

1064691 I had that problem with my 89 6cyl until I swapped in a 160 degree therrmostat a couple of weeks ago. Now she runs like a champ and stays cool. :-D [addsig]

    Not a good day.

1064848 This is another stab at an idea, but a year or so ago I bought a suburban(cheap) to pull the motor out of and put into another truck, anyhow the previous owner said that he had recently had the timing chain replaced, we pulled the pan to use the one from the other vehicle and found...

your opinion on spark plugs and wires......

1065422 I switched to an 8mm accel wire and plain old autolite plugs and I have no compaints about either one. There is really no need to spend $10 on a spark plug. Don't forget the cap and rotor while your at it. Hope you get it figured out. Evan[addsig]

Sqeak gone Vibration started All in the same day!

1065650 I had a similar vibration that was cause by the bushing that the driveshaft slips on being old and worn out. If your going to get a lift it sounds like a great time to upgrade to a sye and a new drive shaft. Other wise you can buy that bushing and replace it. This method does however...

    Sway bar links

1057249 You could try a set of Sway Bar disconnects. I would think they would be heavy duty and if you didnt want to disconnect them you wouldn't have to. Just an idea. [addsig]

    HELP! Toad Jeep!

1057273 I have never towed my jeep but I would assume that you could shift the t-case into neutral and use a tow bar. As for lights I saw a set a couple weeks ago that are wireless and mount with magnets I think but I can't remember where I saw them. Oh yea welcome to the board. Evan[addsig]

    "throw-out" bearings

1057342 Welcome to the board. I'm not sure what the sound is, but from earlier posts I understand that the GL5 rated gear lube can eat the brass sycronizers in your transmission. I am changing the fluid in my transmission on saturday with redline, I think a few of the guys on her use redline...

    Seating space

1057839 I think that Grant offers a quick disconnect for their steering wheels, you could put one of those on when you get a new wheel and then when you go to get in and out just pop off the wheel. [addsig]

    light wiring

1057920 wire the switch straight off the battery, and don't forget an inline fuse. Probably not the best way but has always worked for me without any problems.[addsig]

1058107 My hardtop will be off for the good months by the end of the month. Then the bikini and duster will go into place, so why would you need a soft top???[addsig]

Rough idling and misfires in a late model Cherokee

1058381 There is a process that is used to clean carbon build up, I work at a service station and we have a deal I'm not sure how it works as all I do is pump gas and fix tires, but the process does work. I would try replacing the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor and see if the miss goes away. The...
