Hello all, I am of need of finding fuel lines for my 89 YJ. It is a 4.2 L carb model. I am wanting to replace the fuel tank, fuel tank straps, the fuel pump, and lines this coming spring. I can not the fuel lines. The local NAPA store does not list the fuel lines and can not order them...

I do have carburated I6. Did not even think about the skid plate. Joey

Hello; I will need to replace my gas tank this spring once it warms up here in PA. I am wanting any suggestions about replacing the gas tank. Should I replace the fuel pump, fuel lines, while I have the tank dropped and replace etc......... I also found this tank online and would welcome...

Just another thought that those of us that live rather close to another state such as MD WV VA NJ DE NY or OH should know their laws about mirrors before riding down the road into another state.

Do you smell raw gas? Choke/Carb issue. Igition also a good start.

I have an 89 YJ 4.2L V6. My oil fill engine cap is leaking some because the rubber o ring is cracking/rotted. Does anyone have a spair sitting around? Joey Lane:???:

Yeah ............... run 6 months or a year stock, save money, then figure out what you really want to do as far the aftermarket products. Personally, I got a 89 YJ with a 4 inch shackel lift on it. I am taking it back to stock lift this week. sjlane

November 1 to April 15 to be exact for PA. Yes please check local laws. But most Northern States do allow studded tire. I am getting second set of rims for the purpose of putting studs on a set for the winter.

Just wondering if you any of you all had any good experiences with the so called preformance spark plugs to give the ole 4.2L a little extra power boost or gas mileage. And, yes I have read the threads on the Motorcraft carb, the Weber card, the iginition upgrade, and to convert over to fuel...

Also you get a second set of rims and put studded tire on them. My wife has an Escort with studded tire. It does fine in ice and snow until the snow gets too high like 8-10 inches. I have read that studded tire on the back tires should get the needed extra traction.

I agree lower pressure in the tires. Also you may want to throw some sand down where you park. Sand will give you some extra traction.
