Doesn't it seem wierd that it only does it at one speed? I called Rocky Road and they said I should have no problems with 2" BB and I don't need TC drop. They said I may have bad U-joints, but I replaced those with longer ones. Could I need to just tighten them down again?
Lift Done-Rear Vibrates
Whew...Finally completed the 2" BB for the XJ. I think it turned out great, but I have one small problem. The rear vibrates from 27-30 MPH then goes away. I have taken it up to 75 with no problem until it goes back to 30. Any solutions?
Paid $1.99 today with my 10 cent kroger plus card discount. Happened to be in the YJ which nearly filled up on $20. Wish I had the truck (30 gal tank).
I don't know about the four door......seems to me like it will bring new soccer mom jeepers that won't waive :purple: . Awesome spec info link below. I don't hate it as much as I thought.

So...I need to place the block on top of the axle and underneath the spring pack once I am able to remove the pin and replace it with a longer one. Will the pin need to be specific for the application? In my directions it says I can use an "allen type" pin. What are they talking about?
The pin is to hold the half inch block to the spring pack....how can I gain access to the lower nut to replace it? It just spins unless I can gain access to the lower nut of the center pin.
Also.....dumb ?...the block goes on the top.....right?
OK. So drill it out and retap it. any suggestions...
I started putting on a 2" lift for the XJ and ran into some problems.

When I was unbolting the rear shocks BOTH screws broke off. What is the easiest way to get this fixed? I cannot drive it to a shop and I don't have allot of tools. I am sure this has happened to somebody else please...
what do you mean when you go to pull it out it stumbles? Is it stalling, choking, or just idling funny? If you have a bunch of carbon build up on your plugs then you are running rich, but it doesn't sound like thats your problem.
I don't have a PDC in my model but I got it worked out. For those of you who have not done this mod, I highly reccomend it. I can tell a huge difference in power and it sounds cool when I turn it off.
Did the electric fan in the YJ yesterday.....WOW, what a difference. I hooked the ignition wire up to the battery temporarily because I didn't know where to find an accesible 12 volt ignition wire. Does anybody know where I could find one easily under the hood? Is it always the same color?
Would my local auto parts store know what would go with a 2" lift? I really don't want to F this up. Its a daily driver with only 65k. Should I compare the stock shock to new ones that are 2" longer or buy something specific? Will it make a difference?
I recently bought the 2" BB from Rocky Road for the XJ. BPE's (bar pin eliminators/shock extensions) were supposed to be included if you wanted to use the stock shocks. They did not come with the kit and I will have to wait 2.5 weeks for them to make them.
I might just go ahead and...
