After 8 months and 5700.00 and countless hours of fitting and fab work I finally got it running down the road. The guys at Novak Conversions are extremely helpful. 231 Upgrades

I also just found out that I have to completely rebuild my D-30 front axle. Is it worth the rebuild? Remember cash is the problem. It needs ball joint and u-joints. So if I have to do that I might as well go through the whole thing. Input?

Installing an explorer rear end in a YJ

It is the ABS sensor plug. All I have heard are positives about the swap. I picked up the rear end off Craigs list for 27.00 Yes, 27.00. I know that the calipers and rotors are 220.00 new. I thought that it wasn't a bad deal. I just know that my dana 35 is junk. I can lock up the 8.8 later. I...

    Post "nutter" update

I just completed the "Nutter" bypass. The jeep works a hundred times better now. I am not sure I did the timing as correctly as it should have been done though. I just did not know the correct RPMs at idle. I also have a driveline vibration at 3000 RPMs but that is another issue. Anyway, Thanks...

    88 yj will not idle

I did the timing the best I knew how to and the results are great. The jeep now idles at 800 rpms without stalling. There is still a miss but I think there is a vacuum leak. However, I do not understand the point of changing the vacuum lines from the distributor. Is the new location supposed to...
