Are you running a coalescing filter ? So expensive for something that's not on all the time. So many other filters could work.

On board update. Found a working york210 for $30 mounted now trying top find a cheap coalescing filter wow not cheap . Does it ha e to be this type?

These fans put out 2000 cfm and blow away any flex lite fan and are way cheaper. Great junk yard find put electrical is not my strong point.

So do you guys think my 60 amp alternator is enough to make it work?

I got a fan for $29 at the junk yard and have been waiting to do this upgrade. But I'm hearing you need a 165amp alternator to run this wicked fan. I just have a 60amp right now. Anybody know if what I have is ok or do I have to pay up for a bigger amp?

For sure I hear allot of how the amc 20 is crap. Well I have one in mine for over 12 years. Have Detroit in it and superior 1 pc axle shaft. Going strong.

Went to the junk yard found a york210 for my OBA project and also found a electric fan out of 3.8l ford Taurus. Time to modify. God I love jeeps.

Picked up a a York 210 and and ford Taurus fan for under $60 for both. Can't wait for on board air and a new fan to keep the old girl cool. Anyone have a good step by step and pics on how to wire the fan ?

Absolutely the rear. I have a Detroit in the rear of my amc 20 for over 12 years. Never looked back. Whatever you choose will better then a open diff.

Internal regular and I would go to a alternator shop and pay the extra bucks for a 80 amp. Nice to have that extra juice.

The York 210 seems to be the one to use and will mount right on to my 360. Just gotta go find a old wagoner and start wrenching I guess. Thanks jeeps.

As you can see I have front and rear bumpers that can be used as tanks. On board air would be nice to have on the trail. What is the best compressor for under the hood ? Thanks.
