I have a '97 and I am looking towards the Ox Locker for the rear. After exhaustive research, in my opinion the locker will help in off road situations. I have a 2.5l w/32" tires and I love it. With the 2.5 and D-35, I do not believe I will damage my axles. But, like anything if you abuse it...

When you have taller tires they get wider too. I went from 30" to 32" and I experienced the same thing Same tread pattern on both tires. 9.50 were fine 10.5 width not good
