:-) I HAD READ A FEW THREADS CONCERNING OIL PRESSURE , I KNEW ABOUT OIL PRESSURE ON SOME LARGER ENGINES BECAUSE I HAD A 82 GMC 4X4 PU AND HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE OIL PRESSURE SENDING UNIT. THANKS TO THESE THREADS AND REPLYS IT JOGGED MY MEMORY AND I WAS HOPEFULLY ABLE TO SOLVE MY 87 YJ's PROBLEM...

Well that explains the three small holes that are drilled on the rear wheel wells on each side,i had a feeling thats what the prev.owner had done. Anyway i kinda liked the way yours turned out i may put it back that way...thanks

Since the frame is not rusted out you should be able to fabricate new mounts or have a metal fab shop make and possibly install them for you ,i've worked in a machine shop for 13 years and have seen these guys rebuild things most people would scrap...good luck!
