I'm all about more torque rather then mass amount of horsepower. I think i'd redo the gears, rather then go out and spend big bucks on things that would improve it. But most of those improvments won't come into effect until 33's or better.

Utah Jeepster, that post slayed me! I checked out the steel yard and found alot of good steel today and 2x2 quarter inch tubing is 5.79 a foot. and they have lots of good steel mesh and stuff to make bumpers and so forth, lots of tubes.

Sounds very much to me like the fan belt. Mine does the same thing, and my old jeep would do the goat scream and I replaced it and it would sound fine. Now my new cherokee is doing the same thing and its the belt. 20 dollars and 5 minutes will fix that problem.

Check out your drive shaft, I am getting the death wabble due to my drive shaft being messed up. Could be a number of things though, I can't really think of anything off the top of my head.
