and the problem is what exactly? I run my XJ in full time 4wd all the time. no problems with it at all, although I do have the selec trac transfer case if that has any bearing on the 'problem'

My XJ is 2WD, you have to shift it into 4 WD with the transfer case:-). the new patriot over this side of the pond comes with 4WD as an option!!!!!

thats a favourite trick of mine. scrapyard part ,get it refurbed in a decent shop then fit it myself, saves ££££
