Leaf vs. coil suspension is a WICKED good idea. As is the ABS blunder.
It has to be about brakes/suspension/stearing, but I want to relate it too offroading.
Thanks so much. :D
OK, so I found out today what the problem was. And Gadget, you were right. It is TOTALLY normal. It's an oversized drum - too much wear.
To me it makes no sence because like I said, I measured them and they only wore .010"
Another funny thing is the Jeep has 30000 miles on it, and my shoes...
School help, again! :D
I need to write a paper on Brakes/Suspension can be anything, and being the offroad freak that I am I figure I am going to write about air bags...well I can't find any info, and I need sources.
So......what would you write about? It can be anything that deals with...
Gadget,
Thanks for the info. I took it to my instructory, he said "Good theory, but not my problem." I thought, hmmm...ok then. Back to the drawing board.
My drums are round all the way around, actually only have worn .010" (I measured them today).
I am still stumped as to why they are...
I need to know why my shoes, on both sides, are wearing in the middle. It's not both shoes, it's just one on both sides, the shoe in the back.
My instructor won't tell me as of yet, he said I should ask around and see what other people think. I'v determined it's not the springs or wheel...
I'm thinking while reading, "Wow, everybody thinks it's a bad idea" Then I go and read my post. lol, I didn't finish...I want to get a CJ, only catch it's going to be me everyday Jeep. :D It can't be any CJ, it has to have a V8 and run somewhat good.
Now... :D
So, I want sell my Jeep, which has been royally abused. I'm going to fix it all up, clean it really good, I think I'm going to ryno line it, keep all the skids on, fix up the wheels and sell him with everything.
Just thought i'd let you guys know.
