Its most likely the idler pulley. I had that happen as well a few years ago. Its the pulley that serves no purpose other than routing the belt. The bearing goes bad occasionally causing a loud squeal and believe me you do not want it to lock up. Its an easy fix and the part is super cheap.

I play lots of Forza 4. It doesn't have off-road but it is still loads of fun for car buffs.

If I had $33000 to spend on a Jeep I'd rather put it into my GC than buy a v6 Jeep. As my GC with its 5.2 already feels much beefier than the new Rubicon but with that kind of cash I think a hemi conversion and a 7" long arm lift would be better and cheaper than paying that much money. New Jeeps...

I may be v8 spoiled tho. Only engines I have owned. Wife has a 4.0 in her GC and its much more powerful feeling than the 2012 Rubicon I drove. It may be good when speaking more modern engines I don't know.

I actually test drove a new wrangler with this recently. To be honest I was let down even when going in with low expectations. It seemed like it was underpowered. No get up and go. Good luck passing with it.

I have a 98 grand Cherokee 5.2l. It has a 44re trans with 260k miles. It has never given me issues until now. When it is shifting from first to second it is very slow in between. When shifting from second to third it seems like it slips out of gear and revs a little before it goes into third...

I have some 1.5" wheel spacers soaking up shelf space in my garage I'd like to sell. They are 5x4.5 lug pattern. They are by Ballistic Fabrication in Tuscan AZ. Had em on for about a year. Still in perfect shape. Asking $120 OBO for them plus shipping. Located in Gilbert AZ 85233.

I haven't but then again I haven't heard bad things about any brand in particular. The daystars just were recommended to me. Haven't done the lift yet.

One more note. 2" of lift wont allow for 265s as the wheel Wells are kind of small but I believe the 3" RC lift will leave lots of room. Unless of course you are going to cut fenders.

I'm all about anything from kor. Great products there. Also if you are looking to go over 2" of lift I would recommend replacing the springs instead and upgrading the control arms. The stock arms aren't strong enough to be at that angle.
