When in doubt, bail out?

SUCCESS!!! Got a call from Chrysler yesterday, they're replacing my windshield frame AND my windshield. MOOSE FOR THE WIN.

I got a JVC head unit from amazon with an aux hook-up for like $70. With the mounting kit and wiring harness from Best Buy, total cost was like $110. Stereo install on a TJ is pretty easy. Might need an antenna wire extension, too. I don't really remember.

I think they look gawd awful, but they're supposed to be very effective. I'm sticking with my stock fenders under they're absolutely thrashed, and then I'm moving onto a Bushwhacker-style flare.

Pics! The paint looks like crap in these pics, since it's covered in salt. Not being able to run it through a car wash has been killing me. Finally got warm enough to run it through the self-wash yesterday, she's shining like showroom new again.

I've had four adults in my Jeep for some dune wheelin'. Top down, wasn't bad. The only time they complained was when I went through the big puddles at fairly high speed :D

People still read the paper? Heh.... Chrysler seemed to think my warranty claim was regarding my windshield, I had to explain to three different people that it was the windshield FRAME. Now, granted, the rusted frame ruined my windshield, so I'm trying to get that replaced as well, but still...

They denied my claim because the rust perforation warranty applies to body panels, and they don't consider the windshield frame a part of that. I'm calling BS, because the windshield frame is every bit as removable as any other part of the body on a TJ. It's not part of the frame, it's certainly...
