There won't be much left of Grandpa's Jeep when your done. A V8 with an Auto with a transfere case is a pretty long drive train, do you plan on going off road ? The original frame also is not really up the the task of V8 power and neither are the axles, leaf springs or steering gear. It's funny...

I pretty much don't like any mods that don't get you further down the trail or protect the Jeep.

I bought back my totaled vehicle and fixed it and brought it in for inspection once. They only checked that the lights worked. Everything else could have been ready to kill someone but their only concern was the stupid lights. A salvage titled vehicle isn't worth a fraction of a non salvaged...

Nice looking Jeep, you should keep it. I've always liked the wagons with all the room they have inside. You never get out of them what you put into them though, and that pretty much goes for all models. Good Luck !

It's hard to remark when we don't know what Jeep you have, what year, what kind or how tall a lift you envision. We do know you will be miserable and depressed though. Here you go. My Jeep is tall with big tires and it's my D.D.

I like the old school wraps, I wish I could find one for the huge steering wheel in my '62 Willys wagon.
