    Air Conditioning removal???

1043851 easy way to start is to remove everything except for the a/c systems except the compressor, belt, and a/c switch on the dash. Then use a rubber hose with a small air filter an a tool oiler on it and plug that into the intake. Good compressed air will come out the other side of the...

    D's in the hizzouse...

1043852 with image station it's a little tricky... you have to right click on the image and goto properties to find out where it's located. At the very end it should say something like ".jpg.orig.jpg". Remove what's after the last two dots to it ends in just ".jpg" and post that [addsig]

    IS MY TRANSFER CASE DAMAGED?

1043906 nope, checking it is usually more like checking a manual transmission for fluid, usually there are two plug, one is a check plug and one is a drain plug. Not sure on CJs though, maybe someone who knows what t-case they have can tell you exactly how to check it.[addsig]

    Squeak is driving me nuts

1043977 wow, I've never seen them as one solid peice.. If it's missing just find a 1/4" thick peice of ruber, cut a 1" square and poke a hole in the middle [addsig]

    YJ axle help

1043978 it's hard to dent the axle tube, I'd jack it up and spin that one wheel, if it doesn't wobble you should just have to replace the spring and shock. When you replace the spring the axle will be centered again, there's a pin that goes through the spring pack into the spring pad on the...

    Door Removal

1043980 I never remove the hinges, and alot of people don't even bother putting the painted nuts back on, or they replace them with some stainless ones so it looks better... Some anti-seize grease on the pins will help them come off easy the next time you do it.[addsig]

Thoughts about Rubicon's 4.5 suspension lift

1043983 33"s will fit fine for off road use with a 3.5" lift.. you might want to think about the BL just to add a motor mount lift to help deal with drive line vibes though, if not you'll have to drop the t-case or add an SYE. I love my RE 4.5" Long Arm kit, and with my 1" body lift as...

    YJ width question

1044032 yup, 30"s are the largest I think you can fit on a YJ with un-sagged stock springs, chances are your springs have sagged over the last 7+ years so you might want to loo for a small lift for those 31"s.. after that some 8"-10" wide wheels with 4"-3.75" of backspacing should be fine...
