Is it holding up well on the headers? I'm thinking of having the block-huggers on my Willy's done in white. Kinda "retro" looking I think. Also, does the powder coating stain/dis-color/hold grease easily? I have no experiance with powder coating, so any thoughts will help both of us. Thanks

I agree. If you don't have a 4"x 4" area of flat metal that the badge can be mounted to...then you should be automatically grandfathered in. Dirt/rocks/sand/tree stumps/ruts/mud/ditches/valleys/hills/holes don't care is your rig has a "shiny badge" on it.

I'm guessing if the gauge "jumps" around, (by that I mean quickly, not smooth as when warming up) then it's an electrical issue. The resistance from the temp. probe, through the gauge, then to ground is changing/shorting out causing the needle to jump around. If it is not working at all now...

Mine's a boat radio that landed in my hands from a buddy at work after my CD player went kaputz. No CD now, but it has an input jack that my MP3 will plug into, so good enough.

It turned out to be the Hurst shifter/transmission linkages were all wacky. A guy showed me how to adjust it using the drill bit, and all is good now. Thanks though, Brad

Ok.....got the 350 in the Willys tuned/timed. I adjusted the rockers, all is good except #7 exhuast. It can be tightened to the point of being lashed, then a little more. Valve covers on..all is good. After 10 minutes or so, it starts to tap. Then tap, tap, tap..... Could I use lock-tite...

Ok....I went to load the the Willy's onto the trailer to take it to town to have some exhaust put on. I put it (Muncie M-21) in first gear, and can't get it back out. I un-hooked the shifter linkage, and it's still stuck. I can't even get it to come out with channel locks on the link and...
