    Why Jeep?

Funny, my dash lights work the same way when it's cold. Let it warm up, then give it a good rap right above the oil pressure gauge.

    Please Help !!! A 3.7 in a commander...

Ah...forgot about all the "tree huggin' hippy crap". I always take for granted that Indiana is redneck friendly.

    Please Help !!! A 3.7 in a commander...

Dang.....now he's got me wanting to jack around with my wifes Commander. I'd say, if a guy were gonna do it, take both motor and transmission out and get old school with something carbed. Loose all the computers and fuel injection and put something in a guy can actually work on in his own...

    broken winch line

"MY DAY OFFICIALLY SUCKED" is a subjective term under these conditions. I say nobody got hurt....your equipment came out ok, and you still had a good time right? I myself take it as a personal challenge when all hell breaks loose. Life on the trail takes bring us on-the-spot repair...

Looks like a 4bt. Did you go with A.A. to get it matched to the AX15? Tell us ALL you can..........

    Learning to weld

Like said above....practice, practice, practice. On a mig, once you learn how hot to burn, and get your feed speed right, then the concept is pretty simple. Strike your arc, and run your line one of two basic ways. 1: Form a puddle, and drag straight down slowly watching the liquid bubble...

    Doors are stuck

I used a tapered bull pin (like an iron worker uses) and gave each "female" part of the hinge one medium wack. This open each one up ever so slightly on the "entry" side and removal is much easier. Don't open them up much though, or you'll get a rattle.

    Mud Puddles

Fart-Knocker:p I thought this was America? Doesn't a guy have the freedom to tear up what he himself owns? It wasn't public land so I say drop the front wheels in and then give it hell. Here in centeral Indiana is IS no public spots to ride. Closest we have is a few pay parks 2-3 hours...

Ha anybody got or heard of these fenders?

I say yes, they may not be "Trail Rated", but they do look functional for a reasonable price. It's your ride, if you wanna do it, do it.

Ok....I see a what I believe is a Spicer 18 (best of my knowledge) with what appears the be a drive line either: 1) brakes or 2) parking brakes. What wuz it for? Did it work well? Is is some sort of "stock" set-up (I've never seen this on an 18)? Is it still laying around your garage?
