    Jack tools missing

I see the Dorman ones on Amazon but can't find one that says it's compatible with Jeep. I guess all you need is something to slot into the jack so you can crank it.

    Jack tools missing

Does any one know where I can find a replacement set of jack tools? I know they are supposed to be mounted on the passenger side in a pouch but I just noticed that mine are not there. I can't find a replacement online so not sure what to use. edit: this is for an 03 TJ

Need help identifying what this is

It looks like a spring inside of it. What is it attached to? Is it bolted on or zip tied? Can you describe the wires that run to it and where they go?

What are these on my tires and are they needed?

If you want to learn something else about them, I know people that take old wheel weights from tire stores and melt them down to make bullets.

What are these on my tires and are they needed?

If they really bug you, you can go to a tire shop and ask them if they can put them on the inside so you can't see them. That's why you don't see them too often.

New owner of a 2003 CJ

Congratulations on the new Jeep and welcome to Jeepz. I've got a 2003 sahara as well. The designation for this model is TJ. CJ's were the older round headlight jeeps then came the YJs with the square headlights then the TJs from 96-2006 I believe. You'll just have to monitor the coolant leak...

What did you do to your Jeep today?

I've been on vacation with very little wifi and just saw the video you posted about adjusting the sensor. I did not know that it needed any adjusting so I'll check that video out when I get home. No time to watch at work right now.

    Door Handles for Jeep Wrangler

That was me, I repainted mine on my 03. It was really easy as long as you take your time masking it off well. Mask it off, sand it smooth and paint. I used a flat black rustoleum but would probably use gloss black next time. I was going to replace them but it looked like a real pain to remove...

    Is going doorless legal?

My understanding in my state is that you need the windshield rearview and the drivers side mirror. I have a mirror that mounts to the top door hinge. Single post, just takes a couple minutes to mount.

What did you do to your Jeep today?

Not sure. It's a Jasper remanufactured engine.

What did you do to your Jeep today?

Camshaft position sensor was very easy. It's on the side of the engine right next to the oil filter. Two screws and the wiring connector and that's it. I know some jeeps, older ones I think, have it inside the distributor. Looks a little more complicated from the youtube videos but not too bad...

Wow, glad you caught that before heading out to the middle of a lake.

What did you do to your Jeep today?

Installed new camshaft position sensor and a crankshaft position sensor (second one since March). I sure hope this fixes my problem. Only thing left is the wiring I guess.

A new Jeep owner anyday now...

Congrats on becoming a Jeep owner soon! I love the idea of half doors but I think you'd probably be happier with full and then just take them off completely when you want. I thought about buying half but they are pretty expensive so I just went with some tube doors but now i don't even use...
