I got a surpris while taking my jeep for a drive. Another loud squeling nose came between the engine and transmission. Could the disc plate be bad? It did sound familar to when you turn the key onto start while its running. Can I fix this?

O for some reason my fog lights wont come on. I rewired them to the headlights so only one switch could be used. They were working for a while. While it was parked but ever since I started driving it they stopped working

No my bad. It was the fan belt. I sprayed some wd 40 on it and it stopped for a while. But I just replaced it not to long ago though. Is it possible that I over tightened it?

Hmm I just replaced the belt already. Could it be the belt in the transfer case? If it has one.

But theres something else going on. Theres a loud squeling noise coming from the engine each time I turn the engine. It gets longer and longer. What could be happing?

Took the jeep out for a drive. She drove perfect. Clutch and brakes worked great.

I think its the timing. I went redneck and duct tapes the the holes to see if thats the problem. Nada so il mess with timing this coming weekend

I guess thats why they were taped up.

Thats what i did no leak. Have to find a way to reach to the idle screw. I was able to unscrew it a small bit and it to brought to down a to 1700

The timing was off by 3 inches. Moved the straight line were the repair manual says it needs to be. Putting belt and alternater house back together now
