Maybe the new thermostat is stuck ? It should open and cose to regulate your engine temp around 195 degrees.

Laredo2006 so your gona top it off and check it after the next time you drive it and see if you are still using fluid. If its still leaking I hope its not your heater core.

Some 4.0 L motors are prone to head gasket and cam repairs. it might be your camshaft sense you have already addressed the headgasket.. just saying.

Try cleaning or replacing your oil sensor, they are prone to get dirty and give bad readings causing all kinda worries from the owner to the computer. I had a jeep cherokee that oil pressure gauge would go to 0 at idle then back to normal at driving speed. it turned out to be a dirty oil sensor...

If the engine is turning over but wont start you might want to check your fuel filter, your engine might not be getting any gas to it.

Welcome Tom ! make sure the stater is not locked into the flywheel before you start tearing it down. I lost a 60 something Willeys pickup to a guy that had it running the next day because it was just the starter engaged to the flywheel ! my loss his gain.... just saying.

Well the manual was correct all I needed to do is hit it with a bigger hammer lol the other rotor just fell off.

Thanks Members, cool you tube vid also. I have ordered the rotors and the Hayne's repair manual that covers that year model. I hope this weekend I can finish the job and I will report back to you all with the results.
