    TJ hub assembly questions

I can't get hub assemblies to last 2 years on my TJ even if I keep it on the road (I was forced to). I got the $87 Timken (best choice from AutoZone) bearings with the 3 year warranty but I'm sick of having to swap them out every 2 years :-( does anybody have any suggestions?

Step 4: Scuff the Surface- Scuff sand glossy, hard or rusted surfaces with 3M Scotch Brite Pad (#07447) or equivalent. This is ideal for hard to reach corners and masked edge lines. For maximum results, scuff sand thoroughly up to masked edge. Truck Bed Coating can be used directly on properly...

    Ordered my boatsides!!!

Both the Herculiner & the Bed Armor say it can be used on bare metal as long as it's scuffed enough. I like the Bed Armor for outside the tub because it comes in a rattle can for easy touch ups, it's smoother & doesn't fade as fast as the Herculiner

    Ordered my boatsides!!!

The boat sides arrived yesterday & are sitting in my friends garage since my pile of Jeep parts is too big right now. They were shipped bare steel & I want to bed line them... should I prime 1st? If so, what kind of primer should I use? I'm probably going to do 3-4 layers of the Duplicolor Bed...

    Should I upgrade?

Does it preform good for you? Is it just for looks or do you take it off road (not judging, just inquiring). Long arm does provide a better ride but I wouldn't spend that kind of money just because of the ride quality. It does flex better but if that isn't an issue don't mess with it. Where are...

Finally got an end game plan for my TJ (I think)

Boatsides are arriving today & I have a mason jar full of cash saving up for the highline fenders. In another year (or 2), I'll be looking to long arm the front & 4-link the rear & do coil overs via GenRight of course. This Ohio cold has me waiting to install a stock pile of aftermarket parts...

Anybody run a Teraflex Super Short SYE

I still haven't traced the short in the ground wire from the transmission to the computer... so my speed isn't reading anyway... I'm never speeding

    Ordered my boatsides!!!

Will do! I'm usually to excited to be modifying the Jeep to take pics but I'll have my buddy on camera duty. My rocker rot started from the inside :-( it's that vibration dampening foam they used to join body pieces together... I'm gonna cut & bed line at the same time too
