    '05 TJ cruise control issues

I had some speedometer issues in the way of it stopped working on account of some pinched sending unit wires being the 4WD shift linkage. I did a SYE & freed up the wires & speedometer works again... my cruise control never came back. The green light comes on but there is no activation when I...

    soft top dilemma... resolution

My 2005 TJ soft top has seen (more than) it's share of abuse & neglect over the years. My zippers barely fit together correctly when I bought the Jeep, the passenger side from seat leaks from who knows where, the stitching is starting to leak, the passenger side soft window developed a crack/rip...

    Speed-o problems

I installed a TeraFlex SS SYE & in the instructions it says to disconnect the 4WD shift linkage & to my surprise there were some wires under tension... I didn't think much of it but after freeing them I now have my speedometer back... now to get the Blue Monkey™ Speedo-Healer

Without adjustable uppers, lengthening the lowers would be making my pinion angle even worse, right?

As of right now, I only have adjustable LCAs. I found a pair of adjustable UCAs/LCAs but the gentleman is taking his time shipping them

There won't be any wheeling until I get adjustable uppers & lowers. Wouldn't you shorten the lowers & lengthen the uppers to keep the axle centered?

Yeah, I'm stuck in "wait" mode until adjustable lowers get here. Same principal except I'm shortening the lowers to bring the bottom of the axle forward to raise the pinion angle. It's what I can afford for right now but I'm looking into getting uppers & lowers asap

If you're running stock axles 4.88 is the tallest you can go though

    Runnin 35's on a 2.5

Running 35s on a 4 banger, I'd say go with the 4.88s... I have an 05 4.0 with 33s and auto trans & I'm going to 4.88s sooner than later

There is some play in the rear but I'm gonna need air tools (maybe heat) because the bolts are rusted tight. The bushings in my lowers are rebuildable and uppers are still stock. Play in lowers only. I have cam bolts for the lower rears & I'll hopefully be getting the adjustable lowers someone...

Maybe pinion angle? I don't have adjustable arms... yet. I found a pair of adjustable LCAs for an unbeatable price (many thanks, Terry Mason), could I get away with just adjustable lowers?
