I've had the CJ, TJ, and now the JK. Out of the three, I still miss the CJ. It was easy to work and mod. When there was a problem, it usually didn't take much effort to get to the area of issue. I ended up letting it go when the body rot got to a point outside of my 'expertise' and budget...

Yeah, they are pricey. That's why I ended up parting with my '79 CJ7. It was too pricey to do the tub swap and too much rot to chase. I miss that beast.

Nice job and nice catch on that deal. I'm on the lookout for something similar for my son. He wants a wrangler as his first vehicle. All he's ever seen me drive is Jeeps. Can't say I blame him. The line-x would look good if you want to go that course. I've seen a few Jeeps with that look...

Just starting with the decals. Trying to stay in control. Just had to do the retro Renegade decal on the hood. Haven't seen it done that way, so I ran with it. It's good to have a fellow Jeeper as a neighbor who just so happens to own a decal printer...
