    clutch Pedal adjustment???

I dealt with this last month. I don't like the bellcrank design or having one side mounted to the engine and the other to the body. My Scrambler has hydraulic, I think it's a better design.

    WOW! tuxedo park

Looks like alota Jeep for that kinda money, my brother had a '68 with the same V6 I'm sure it would walk away from my 304. I'd have to put it back stock if it were mine, since it's a T-Park. They're so rare and very little info on the options that came on them. Someone on this forum was...

    Funny picture thread!

Yep, that's how the field behind my house would look if I had my way. I'd love to have an MB, but at 6'4 265lbs it would look like a clown car on me.

    Rusty floor boards

It'll take alotta air to run a blaster (sand or otherwise). They'll tell you you can get by with a smaller one but it will work very hard and build heat, heat in a compressor builds moisture, moisture makes your media clump up like cat turds in a litter box. There are line driers and you will...

6 speed not wanting to go into reverse

Ok thanks, someone else had mentioned the boot. He said it seemed like the boot pulled pretty tight when it went into reverse. Going to dissconnect the boot an see if it helps. It hasn't got any kind of lift.

6 speed not wanting to go into reverse

A friend just bought an '05 Rubicon with the 6 speed trans. He was showing me yesterday how it was kinda hard to get it to go in reverse. I drove it and tried it myself, it feels like it's in but when you ease the clutch out it'll grind like you didn't push the shifter back far enough. It done...

I like the cupped wire brushes for angle grinders too.

    Rusty floor boards

Like Greg said, there's alota different ways of tackling that bolt. If it were me, I'd do like he said and wire brush it really well, then start the soaking process, ( I love a product called Aerokroil). If you could get to the nut side and heat it to expand the nut it would help but I don't...

    Rusty floor boards

I'm sure I left out some stuff, it's hard to go step by step right off the top of your head. I know I left out taking the top off, It'll be quite a bit better to do with it off. Also they make these small pannel gap clips most people use on quarter pannels that may make it easier. I just...

    Rusty floor boards

I'm no body man, but I have done several pannels on my CJ. If I leave anything out I hope others will chime in. Take the seats out (all of 'em) so you don't burn holes in 'em. Also cover the windshield and any other glass with something to keep the sparks off of it, (nope cardboard won't work)...

    CJ7 4x4 questions

I've never owned a Quadratrac (automatic), Neutral or park would be fine I'd say though. If you go to shift it and it doesn't act like it wants to engage, like 69jeepcj said back it up a bit or pull fwd a tad. Sometimes it might not spline up in a certain spot. you might move it a matter of...

    Lucas Transmission Fix

I'm no auto trans repairman but... it didn't make the noise when you dropped it off did it? If it had scoring marks why was this not brought to your attention before he put it back in so the problem could be addressed?

    New jeep

Good looking Jeep, welcome to the sickness! Terry's right, get to know it a bit before you change it. Use it some, see what it needs, check out other Jeeps the same model an sort out what ya like an what ya don't. Then spend the $$$...$$$. Good luck with it, congrads.

    CJ7 4x4 questions

Your Jeep is not a shift on the fly type or even the kind you can do with it rolling. So come to a complete stop then You can lock the hubs either before or after you shift the transfer case, it doesn't matter. So lock the hubs, push in the clutch and shift to desired mode such as from 2wd to...

    1980 Jeep J10 for sale

I just read on the Scrambler site, their were only 2500 sportsides built from left over Gladiator Thrift Sides. But only 1264 Honcho Sportsides were ever built. Yep it's kinda rare, especially if it's a Honcho. You might want to run the vin and find out for sure.

    Lucas Transmission Fix

This thread had made me appreciate my manual trans a whole bunch. I hope it all works out for ya. I've got a front seal leaking pretty bad, I've ignored it just about as long as I can stand the smell of burnt oil on my exaust. Sometimes I feel like a pit crew mechanic 24-7.

    Jeep loosing power (Ignition?)

On my CJ5 their's one at the engine mount that goes between the engine and frame, not sure about the body. Seems like their was one somewhere around the gas tank, I'm sure that wasn't the only one. A friend of mine had a drag car that would give the same symptom and it ended up being a bad...
