    electric heater

I saw a circulating coolant heater on ebay for like 70 bucks. You mount it under the hood and tie it in with the coolant system. It has a 110volt plug and when plugged in it preheats the engine coolant and warms the engine block. It should make it easier to start on cold days, plus your heater...

Good looking CJ5 you have there. My 5 is rough as a night in jail but I love it. What's your plans for it? Going back orig or like a resto mod or just a driver?

Motor 'spits' once in a while

Turbogus glad ya got Black Betty lined out, also glad I'm not the only one in the world driving a CJ5 as a DD. Though I do cheat every now and then with an 82 Scrambler. Anyway good luck with it.

Mostly Stock 1986 CJ7 Laredo. Jacksonville, Fl

I went to the bank to get the money and looked at the C list ad one more time then I decided ro back out due to the FL Gators spare tire cover. Seriously, nice Jeep love to see them all original especially the coveted 86 model. ( with factory Dana 44 !!) I see it's a Laredo model but noticed...

    Dana 44's

I've been running 33's on my CJ5 with an AMC 20 for 3yrs. Treated it pretty rough at times, crossing big logs in the woods plus some burnouts on pavement. The 44's are considerably stronger so you should be fine. I'm planning an LS1 5.3 for my '81 Scrambler build, I'll use 44's on it...

    TerryMason's 2005 Jeep TJ Build

I had to go back to the first pic and compair photos. You've really come a long way man. Also some good choices along the way. I know you said in the begining it was a daily driver. I'd say it's very capable trail Jeep but does not infringe on DD service. Congrads man you've done well!:beer...

Blue Ridge Park Way Vintage Jeep Ride/Fall 2014

I may do this, not too far for me. I'd love to see all the old ones. The '82 CJ8 I bought in Dec seems up for the Challenge. The rest of the herd is pretty needy in one way or anthor. Lol

    Working hard!!

Looks great! Now you can honestly say you know what rust tastes like. I had to make the rear section of my frame from about the center of the axel back on my CJ5 due to rust. There was alot of grinding involved, plus welding hammering and all. You may have prevented that. Here's to ya!

    My new stereo

Good luck with finding a Jeep CJ radio, I had been looking for bout 2yrs when I found the AM one I have now on Craigslist. They're pretty hard to come by. I called a a guy in Kingsport that has been parting Jeeps for years and he said he had never even seen one in a CJ. I mean I see em on ebay...

78 CJ5 Fuel and Temperature Guage Nightmares

I can't believe you of all people don't have a working radio in your Jeep.Lol That's like a bodyman always drives a car that needs paint or a mechanic's car always needs engine work.

Who sells the highest quality replacement body pannels for a CJ?

I'm working on a an '81 Scrambler that is pretty rusty. Needs cab floors, bed floors and a patch here and there. Probably wasn't worth saving but I got it cheap and weighed it out vs what they want for one that's been poorly patched I thought I'd build it so I knew what I had. Well I know my...
