yea it turned over real slow...much slower than normal, for about 3 times, but each time it got slower....like waah waaaaaah waaaaaaaaaaaaah -nothing-

ok, so my 2.5 might not be as bad as i thought...i threw in my friends cars battery and the engine turned over...BUT it exponentially got slower and slower and slower untill the starter woudlnt turn over...now mind you the engine never fired up show im looking to see what you guys think it...

i got my money on the 4 spd...with an auto, it will most of the time be higher on the highway...prolly bout 2-3 grandish

wow so where your at, for a gallon of gas (about 4 litres) its $4.60CDN???!? where im at its currently 3.10 a gallon...im kinda glad my jeep doesnt run...it will have 3/4 tank untill i get it fixed....

go to a junk yard and get a gauge cluster with the ones you want, but you have to do a couple of things, the backing of the gauge cluster HAS TO BE WHITE, otherwise it wont work...also, you have to get the sensors from the donor jeep because your current sensors are all on or all off dummy...

ok, so i can do alot of things in a cherokee...and with the recent fiasco i have had i need to know two things...one, how do i put in windows, and two, how would i go about hooking up the rear defrosters? id rather pay just for the window to do it myself....

yeah i had the same problem...but it was on both rear wheels...when i was on the highway taking my girl to work it started swaying back and forth like i was loosing traction on an icy road (it was 75* out) and loe and behold missing a total of 5 lugs and one broken stud...scary crap man

ok, so the verdict is in...im going to try to rebuild...theres just a couple of things i need though...anyone got a engine stand or a cherry picker (engine hoist) that i could use? im gonna do it the hard way...oh yeah... heres the list of things i am sure im gonna need (parts wise) engine...

im all up for a nother used xj...the story with my jeep is that my friend bought it straight out and i drove it, kept it insured...HE could probibly donate it or what not...or sell it...but now im tthinking bout findin a cheep xj (2 or 4 door) and workin on it...my girl wants to buy me a 4.0 for...

bot xjs sound like really good deals...i just gotta try to get some funds...i might just donate my xj to a charity or something for a tax right off.,..
