Another thing you may want to look into see if there is any play in steering it could be in the steering box it may be worn but you may be able to adjust it if its not to worn out with the adjuster nut on steering box

check the resistor on wire leading to switch there known to go out I replaced the one in my wife's 93 xj 3 times they tend to over heat cost $17. at Napa only thing is it s a big pain in the butt getting to unless you remove the lower section of dash

TPS may be dirty or just gone out located on left side of trans about half way up should have 2 10mm bolts holding it in place check connections first they may be loose or dirty before replacing could save you $30 dirty fuel filter could also cause stalling

nothing like trying to shop to find out you cant buy it cause there holding it for black friday not everyone wants to deal with all the idiots and than I find the bigger idiots are the stores not letting you buy certain items what a crock BAH HUMBUG :x

check you fluid in steering pump might be low

Change your air cleaner (filter) you'll see some improvement and do some of the suggestions up there above me

I am assuming its a 134 F Head what system do you have 6 / 12 / 24 volt most of these starters are easy to rebuild , alot of cleaning and replacing the brushes , if you have a 12 volt system a starter from a 80s toyota truck with a 22R will bolt right up as for the solex carb I have never had...

you may want to check your local library alot of them have all the current manuals on file the book I have covers 93 - 01
