I have been there too my 06 had problems Found the ground wires get all corroded and you no longer get a good ground so I replaced them all no more issues it used to click like a dead battery now it cranks instantly like new

Check your front struts hows the top bushings are they worn or loose ? loose struts make a popping sound are your front CV joints connected at the proper angle or are they maybe too short ?

any one know what # fuse the cigarette lighter is ? in a 2006 liberty need it for my phone charger figure maybe someone knows saving me having to go through each fuse one by one theres like 30 fuses in the box (I KNOW RIGHT):D

check neutral safety switch also clean terminals on battery cables could be a bad connection
