Ladies and gentlemen. I found out something about calipers I was not aware of. I feel stupid but so no newbies feel like me. When you do your calipers on a xj always be sure to have the bleeder valve on the top. Cost me an entire new brake system cause Hanes and Chilton don't mention anything...

In the past 3 days I've put in a hard line, 2 master cylinders, front calipers, front pads, rear shoes, and hardware pack, bleed all air. Breaks don't work. Nothing makes sense any more brother. Sent from my SM-J327T1 using Jeepz.com mobile app

I just had both calipers on my xj stick and heat up bad to the point my rotors were smoking. Replaced and then my rear hard line broke. Replaced along with booster. Bled all air out now the master cylinder failed. Replacing today. Sent from my SM-J327T1 using Jeepz.com mobile app

Yesterday was front breaks and calipers. Today found a broken hard line to drivers rear drum. Spent day with one man bleeder bleeding the breaks. Still no breaks. Went and through in a booster, still no breaks. Tomorrow master cylinder. If no breaks... I guess I crash. Sent from my SM-J327T1...
