I unplugged the connector (the one you disconnect to take hard top off) and tested the voltage there, it's perfect. Then plugged it back in and tested on the window, that's where the rest is from. If I had hair I'd have pulled it all out!!! Sent from my SM-G781U using Jeepz.com mobile app

I'm at a loss here. Finally got around to troubleshooting a bit more... Switch works, got power to the back. Checked resistance across the window, perfect contact. Checked voltage and ZERO. Checked voltage on tabs, battery voltage... not transferring to the strip. My repair, works great...

Also thought if I get the compressor on before jacking the body up... as the suspension falls, the springs will stay compressed at ride height.

So I picked these up a while ago and just curious about the install. YouTube has you completely disconnecting everything and dropping the axle enough to pull the coil springs out... is that necessary? I seem to recall doing work on springs before (not a jeep) and all that would be overkill...

Ugh... loosened it up but quickly realized it won't do any good. There is no where for the molding to go. The bottom piece is under the top piece and neither have much give to seem to go under the frame lip... can someone post a pic of theirs? ... that would answer this once and for all if they...
