Well I finally sold my LJ last week and have moved over to the dark side of Jeeps. I will miss the LJ but, the JKU picks up where the LJ left off. The ride is so much smoother and queiter not to mention more room. Well here she is Black Ice.
Yes but, to drain the pan by using the drain bolt you will have to remove the cross plate. I don't run mine anymore only because I don't offroad plus it allows more air to pass over it with the cross plate not being there.
Transmission runs about 15 degrees cooler with 100 degree temps. I also have noticed that the pan stays pretty warm for a good few hours vs the stock one that only stayed real warm for about 20 minutes. My before temp was 195 to 200 and I now run 175 to 180. In the mornings when I was about 175...

I like the red orange color of the early 70s CJ5 we had a 74 CJ5 that was that color. Had the 258 with the 3sp manuel and man that thing would pull concrete up lol.
I'm going to have to replace my valve body assembly this weekend but, until then would driving it hurt the transmission with the TCC Solenoide not firing? I don't drive it any faster than 50mph just to be easy on her until Sunday when I can change it out.
